The H22 is a high RPM engine so you're going to have to mash the throttle even more to make use of the extra power. If you were replacing the engine, I'd do an F23 from an OBD-II Honda/Acura product.
WebFeb 7, 2006 · Whereever you go to get it installed, MAKE SURE, you get them to do the automatic to manual timing belt tensioner retrofit, it'll save you madd head work or maybe a new engine. You also have the choice of the JDM F22....DOHC VTEC 160hp...it's a lil cheaper than the others. IMO You should put an NSX engine in it, the 2007 NSX....lol j/k.

It's a very close-geared tranny that's good for n/a applications. If you can get your hands on a Honda or Quaife LSD without tranny, you could swap it into your longer-geared (but weak) F22 tranny, or try to find an H23 tranny which is strong AND long-geared, which also bolts to your engine.
