Thought they might be Herters (he had other Herters dies etc), but looking on Ebay, all the Herters shell holders on sale are the slip-in type. Any ideas?

Tried using a Drexel tool to machine it to clear but very messy and haven’t finished the mod yet. Perhaps I need to take it to a Machinist to mill a clearance to make it look attractive/professional finish.
