WebSep 2, 2010 · Posts. 46. the E7's have a much smaller chamber than the E6's, and the E6's valves are much farther away from the pistons. 86 HO pistons were completely flat, no valve reliefs, no dish, etc. you should be in the 9.5:1 range or so with the E7's. I would put a set of TW's on it and be done with it. The HD-SE heads are ported , have bigger valves , a different combustion chamber shape and are a bit cheaper than the S&S. S&S makes good stuff , but I've never had a set of the SE heads.
